Write for us
We welcome pitches from writers with a clear, reader-centred idea about personal style, clothing, outfit making, wardrobe care or the history and meaning of dress.
What makes a strong pitch
Tell us the central question, the specific angle and why it would interest a curious general reader. A good proposal is more than a broad subject: it shows what the piece will explain, compare or help readers notice, and how it will avoid repeating familiar advice.
Useful contributions
We are interested in considered explainers, comparisons, histories, myth-checking and occasion-led pieces grounded in reliable information. Keep claims proportionate, distinguish personal perspective from general fact, and avoid instructions that depend on professional assessment or local rules. We do not accept work that disguises advertising as editorial.
Send a proposal
Use the Contact page to send a concise pitch, a short account of your relevant experience and any sources or visual material you expect to use. Please propose the idea rather than sending a complete unsolicited article. A submission is not a promise of publication.
Clothes deserve a closer look
Getting dressed can be a small act of attention. We write about the choices behind a wardrobe, without treating fashion as a race to keep up.
